Bethel Caram

Bethel, ( in the third person because I want you to believe a biographer has deemed her important enough to write this bio ) is an actress, comedian, and writer. Originally from NYC ( you heard me.. there are a few of us… Columbia Presbyterian was her first home! ), she spent her formative years in the Mid-West, moved to LA just in time for puberty, and came to her senses returning to her native NYC after college.

She has spent the last decade plus ( generous with the plus ) in NYC working with her favorite person; her writing and comedy partner, Neil Potter. Specializing in character driven sketch comedy, some of their favorite original work includes: Legs Wide Shut at the Bank Street Theatre, NYC, Insomnia at the Laurie Beechman Theatre, NYC, and Faking it, Again, at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre, which then moved to the HBO Workspace in LA.

Fun theatre credits include: Girls Only, the Secret Comedy of Women ( a two woman comedy, Denver Center ), Browntown ( NYC Fringe ), and both National and European tours of A Chorus Line ( Val/ Kristine ). She can currently be seen as the Verizon woman who will, " Help you Move it!
